Academic English Course
The Academic English Course offered by BSM is an intensive programme for students looking to advance their education in an English speaking institution, either in Thailand or abroad. This programme helps develop both the fundamentals and proficiency in using the English language.
Due to its intensity, students are taught how to brainstorm ideas, structure sentences, plan and organize academic pieces of writing. In addition, the programme teaches the skills of argumentation and point of view within the context of a classroom discussion and will also develop the student’s listening and speaking for success in the academic and professional world.
- Practice and development of reading and writing skills from various case studies
- The learning of new vocabulary and how to apply them more effectively in everyday life
- Knowledge on the most effective approach for note-taking during lectures
- The learning of different research methods needed to complete assignments
The course includes the development of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Speaking and listening skills can be gained through conversational back and forth in the class, enhancing all areas at the same time.
Level 1: Beginner or equivalent of IELTS 4.5
Level 2: Intermediate or equivalent of IELTS 5.0
Level 3: Higher Intermediate or equivalent of IELTS 5.5
Price & Testing Rules
- Price Per Subject: $75.00
The total cost for all 4 subject tests is $300.00. You don’t have to take all 4 tests at once and can space them out however you choose.

Note: The GED test has a passing score of 145 for each test subject.
