About the Center and the Surrounding Area

A student in our library

The Bangkok School of Management training facility site is situated in the heart of the prestigious business district of downtown Bangkok on the 16th Floor of Amarin Tower – an office block housing the regional headquarters of many multinational corporations.

The training facility itself is composed of six modern classrooms, fully equipped with comfortable seats, projectors and breathtaking city views. The lecture theater can hold up to fifty students, although class sizes are always much smaller than this.

In addition to the classrooms, the facility boasts a fully equipped LRC (Learners Resource Center) which includes computers with high speed internet access and a well stocked library. WiFi internet access is available throughout the facility for laptop/notebook connections to the high speed internet service free of charge.

Our building's food centreDuring the time you are not studying in one of the classrooms or conducting research in the LRC, you will find a multitude of things to do in the immediate area. Begin by taking the elevator down to the plaza level to grab a coffee or a bite to eat in the trendy McCafe, relax in Starbucks or even have a meal in the restaurant of Thailand's very own emerging food and beverage brand: S&P. For traditional, and cheap, Thai food, from the four main regions of The Kingdom, take the lift back up four floors and take in the sights, smells and tastes of some of the most famous and exotic dishes in the world. From Tom Yam Gung to Pat Thai, from curry to stir-fry, there is even a vegetarian food stall in here!

Sky Train track and connecting Sky BridgeAlso in the plaza area of the building, you will find a diverse array of stores to meet your every need. Chemists including both Boots and Watsons, a clinic, a tailor, a book shop, a supermarket and more schools offering courses as diverse as Thai Language, dancing and yoga.

The building also has the honor of being connected to the overhead Sky Train system by what is affectionately known as a “Sky Walk”. Sky Walks link major buildings and shopping malls to this electric train system, meaning you can easily move from location to location without worry of crossing the road. You can take the Sky Walk from the entrance of the building all the way to Central World Plaza, without ever having to go down to street level. That said, you will want to come down from the Sky Walk once in a while, if only to immerse yourself in the bustling ad-hoc markets and occasional festivities taking place below. The Erawan Shrine, just 30 seconds walking distance from the building is always a hive of activity and worshipers and is a favorite among both Asian and Western tourists alike.

The convenience of the Sky Train system means that you can easily shuttle from one location in Bangkok to another within a matter of minutes. Popping away for a quick work-out at the gym or a late afternoon swim is the norm. The Sky Train connects to a myriad of 5-star hotels with fitness facilities as well as trendy modern gyms such as Fitness First and California Wow. At the weekend, the Sky Train can take you further afield to the Chatuchak Weekend Market in Northern Bangkok and even interchanges to the underground (subway/metro) train system which links to Bangkok's main train station (Hualamphong) for trips and excursions out of the city.
