Shorter courses
We are pleased to be able to offer a number of shorter courses at our school. There are quite a few people that are interested in taking them in order to see what studying in Bangkok is like, before committing themselves to a longer course, whereas others simply want to learn more about a subject they already have a keen interest in. It is possible that credits from these courses can be transferred to other schools of business management or a university, but please do check with us first regarding this matter. Different subjects are offered at different times of year and the courses usually run for a little over two months. You will usually need to provide evidence of completion of your high school education in your home country when enrolling in any of these courses. As with all other programmes at our school, they are all run by experienced and qualified educators who are well regarded in business management education and as experts in their respected fields. In addition to these courses there are a number of test preparation courses for examinations such as A-levels that upon successful completion will give you the opportunity to apply for entrance to universities in the UK and other countries. The IELTS examination will enable non-native English speakers to gain entrance to university programmes that are conducted in English and is widely recognised around the world.
The 2 + 1 business degree
As mentioned above, this particular course is the main reason that many students come to study at our school. It allows them to complete business school degree courses by spending two years studying with us and then transferring to a foreign university for the final year of their degree (or two years in the case of some subjects). If they enjoy their stay in Thailand so much that they do not want to leave then there is also the chance to complete the final year via a distance learning facility. With students from different countries studying with us, it also gives you the opportunity to make many contacts that can be useful in the years to come. It is possible to end up with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business or SME Management at the end of your studies. School facilities and the local area
We believe that providing the best facilities and an environment conducive to effective study is of prime importance and have made every effort to ensure that your time with us will be both productive and enjoyable. You will find that the classes are held in modern, well equipped rooms with wonderful views across the city of Bangkok. Apart from the regular classrooms there is a special learners resource centre which has computers with broadband internet access for your use as well as a comprehensive library. As an online educational school, in addition to the classes we hold onsite, we pride ourselves on our technological facilities. If you wish to use your own laptop or notebook you can take advantage of the free WiFi access that is available at our school. During your breaks you will find that the building we are situated in has lots of other things to offer. There are many cafes and places to eat as well as supermarkets, bookshops and places where you can take classes in yoga. Travelling to other parts of the city is made easy by the walkway from the building to the nearby monorail train station. As our management school is located in the central business district of Bangkok you will of course find many places to eat, and entertainment facilities within walking distance as well. It may take you a little while to adjust to the hustle and bustle of the city but you will find Thai people friendly and helpful.
Accommodation and lifestyle
When it comes to finding yourself somewhere to live in Bangkok there are a myriad of options to suit all budgets and personal preferences. We understand that there are some people who would much prefer to sort out somewhere to stay on their own when coming to study a degree in business here, or may perhaps have friends here that they can lodge with, and of course you are perfectly free to do this. On the other hand, in order to help you to settle in, we have made arrangements with various places that you may book yourself into, once you have been accepted onto a program with us. If you are on a limited budget then there are rooms that cost from a little less than one hundred dollars a month, but they are quite basic. The most expensive properties are large condominiums which can cost up to around twelve hundred dollars each month. For people attending business school Thailand has many different areas in which you can stay but it will of course be easier if you find yourself somewhere fairly near to our building. As far as entertainment goes, there are many things to do in Bangkok. There are a number of large universities in the area with a vibrant student nightlife and many cheap places to eat as well as international standard hotels when you want to treat yourself. For people who enjoy nightclubs there are several popular ones in the Sukhumvit area and Ratchadapisek Road.
International business school
